Development Update
30 October 2026

What’s new in our apps and sites, newest first. We keep this one page up to date instead of writing a new post every month, and we remove anything that no longer applies, so everything below is how things work today.

Want to try something? Every app is listed on yeahvibe.com. Feedback is always welcome via the contact page.

October 2026

New: Radio

  • Radio has its own app now: radio.yeahvibe.com. Live radio from the Netherlands, France and the rest of the world, without the ads that radio apps add on top. You only hear what the station itself broadcasts.
  • About 100 well-known stations, each tested by us, plus a search through tens of thousands more from the open Radio Browser directory, by name, country or genre.
  • Pick your own countries as buttons, and a search then stays inside that country.
  • Star your favourites and drag them into the order you like.
  • Share the app, or share the station you’re listening to: the link opens the app on that station.
  • Radio also opens from the first tile in Arcade and is listed on the YeahVibe hub, together with Sketch below.

New: Sketch

  • Sketch (sketch.yeahvibe.com): open blank pages and draw with your finger, a mouse or a stylus. Name your drawings, duplicate a page, and lock the view to swipe through pages without drawing by accident. Everything stays on your device, and it works offline.

All our apps

  • Install in one tap: the first time you open one of our apps, a small banner offers to install it on your phone or computer, so it opens like any other app. On an iPhone or iPad it shows how: tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. WhichDay can now be installed too.

IntentFlow

  • In French, Dutch and Spanish: pick your language on the welcome screen or in Settings, or let IntentFlow follow your phone.
  • Journal: the 📝 button next to the timer opens one note per day, saved as you type, with your earlier notes below it.
  • Each tab adds its own things: Today adds habits and weekly goals, the Agenda adds events and chores. The event form is simpler, with repeats, multi-day and colours under “More options”.
  • Daily routine shows the share of today’s habits you’ve done, as a percentage, instead of points.
  • Timer: an option to keep the screen on, and in the Android app a notification when the time is up.
  • On Google Play: the Android app is in a closed test on Google Play. See how to join.
  • Phone reminders (Android app): tick “Remind me” on an event or chore and your phone reminds you. Events with a time: 30 minutes before. Without a time, and for chores: at the reminder time you choose in Settings.
  • Agenda: tap a day in the calendar, and a new event starts on that day. This also works with the ✨ AI button, unless you type a date yourself.
  • Agenda: the 👁 Show filter now means “show only this”: tap Events to see only events, tap again to see everything.
  • Agenda: a “Tomorrow” heading between “Today” and “Next 7 days”.
  • Chuck, the Flow Pet: an optional companion on Today that grows with your consistency, from egg to duckling, surfing duck and finally majestic duck. A good week (five days with at least half your habits done) counts as soon as the fifth day is done, finished chores and goals give Chuck treats, and a missed week never takes anything away. You can rename Chuck or turn the pet off in Settings.
  • Look back a week: use the arrows in the Daily routine header to see and correct the habits of the last 7 days.
  • Automatic backups on your device: one copy a day for the last 7 days, restorable from Settings.
  • Undo last change in Settings, also after an import or restore.
  • Tidier screens: habits, weekly goals and the Add form each fit on one line, with an optional “Compact lists” setting.
  • Settings: on/off choices as one row of buttons, a “Share IntentFlow” button, and a new “About HappyBein” group with feedback, contact, our other apps and this journal. New installs start with an empty Links tab, ready for your own links.
  • Plans: web addresses in a plan become tappable links. The Planning Template is always one tap away.
  • The guided tour walks through every tab with example content, and replaying it never touches your own data.
  • ✨ AI add works for everyone, no sign-in needed (up to 20 a day per device).
  • Cookies: IntentFlow loads Google Analytics only after you tap Accept (ShopTools too). Our websites and our other apps use no cookies at all, only a cookie-free visit counter.
  • A new app icon: the wave on ocean blue.

ShopTools

  • Budget, rebuilt around how money actually moves:
    • Choose a Monthly budget (income and expenses each month) or a Running total (a simple pot, for example for savings).
    • “Should be there today” tells you what your account should hold right now, and you can check it against your real bank balance.
    • Slide along the budget chart to see the expected amount on any day.
    • Edit amounts in place, use 0 or negative lines, and drag expenses into sections more easily.
    • The budgets list shows each budget on one line, with what’s left, coming in and going out.
  • Stores show today’s opening hours, and you can scan a loyalty card’s barcode or QR code from a photo.
  • Quick List (formerly “Others”) can be split into sections, and items can be dragged between them.
  • Dark mode.
  • Android: the phone’s back button and back gesture work everywhere they should.

Our sites

  • Videos in four languages: the introduction to HappyBein and the IntentFlow video are in English, French, Spanish and Dutch, with subtitles. Choose the language under the video.
  • YeahSight tells one story in six questions, from what every person needs to which causes would do the most good: see the YeahSight home page. The menu follows the six questions, and each question has an overview page.
  • Newsletter: sign up on the home page for occasional updates. Your address stays with us, not with an outside mailing service.
  • HappyBein home page, rewritten around one simple story: what we help with, our three steps from understanding people and society to taking action, who we are and our values. There’s a new drawing of that path, in all four languages.
  • YeahCore, our base on human needs and how to decide, has its own home at yeahcore.happybein.com, with a new landing page.
  • YeahSight, on how society works and where it’s heading, also has its own home now at yeahsight.happybein.com. Its articles are grouped into four sections that read as one story, each marked as an explainer or a HappyBein proposal.
  • Two articles rewritten: What Is Society For? and What Every Society Must Do, both in English and French.

September 2026

IntentFlow

  • Plans is a full tab: a list of all your plans (with sections you can collapse and drag), and a screen for each plan. Duplicate a plan, or “Extract plan” to copy it as text.
  • Weekly goals come in two kinds: a Counter (for example “Run 3×”) and a Tracker (log a value like your weight and see its trend in a chart).
  • Open on your last tab: choose “Last tab used” as your starting tab in Settings.
  • Quick Timer built in, one tap away in the header.
  • Native Android app, with Google sign-in that hands you straight back to the app.

ShopTools

  • Shop is now ShopTools, since it covers much more than groceries: Inventory, Quick List, Stores and loyalty cards, Budget and Links.
  • Several named budgets (Food, Pocket money, …), each with its own income, expenses and spending log.
  • Native Android app, on its way to the Play Store.

Both apps

  • Sync between devices happens automatically once you sign in, and it can no longer silently overwrite newer data from another device.
  • A guided tour on first open, which you can replay anytime from Settings.
  • ✨ AI add: describe something in your own words and the form fills itself in, for you to check before saving.
  • Privacy policies in plain language, with a short note right at the “Sign in with Google” button on what it does.
